NJ LSRPA’s power-packed New Jersey Site Remediation Conference (NJSRC) will be back at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick on March 26 and 27, 2025!
The NJSRC is the ONLY Conference dedicated to site remediation in New Jersey. Just like past years, the 2025 Conference promises to deliver relevant courses for continuing education credits along with opportunities to network with peers and other industry professionals. There will be communication avenues with other environmental professionals and the opportunity to meet and learn from sponsors and vendors that support Licensed Site Remediation Professionals with specialized services.
When you attend this event, you will experience high-value education and training while having fun and enhancing your relationships with other professionals in your field. Our commitment is to offer you a wonderful opportunity to network with other environmental professionals while providing the convenience of adding Ethics, and Technical and Regulatory LSRP CECs, CLEs or CPCs to your roster for license renewal.
Session 4A – Sustained Chemical Oxidation Remedial Options to Efficiently Address VOCs and SVOCs
09:00 am – 11:00 am on March 27, 2025
Speakers: Will Moody, Troy Lizer, and Doug Gray
Continuing Education Credits: 2.0 Technical (LSRPs), 2.0 CPCs, 2.4 CLEs, and 2.0 NYPDHs
In situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is a well-established remedial tool to address VOCs, SVOCs, and other contaminants of concern. However, one primary ISCO limitation is the short oxidant lifespan that leads to contaminant rebound and additional field application events. Recent ISCO technology advancements address this limitation with reagent options that have an extended subsurface lifespan (from many months to years) and low energy electrokinetic systems that continuously and remotely create oxidative conditions (24 hours per day). The course attendees will learn how these advanced ISCO options can be applied to address a range of contaminant concentrations and reach site remedial goals more efficiently. Register Now!
