Introducing Provect-OX2™ Extended Release, Self-Activating ISCO / Enhanced Bioremediation Reagent

YEAH … IT'S NOW >>1

Introducing Provect-OX2

In 2014, Provectus debuted Provect-OX® as the industry's first self-activated, persulfate-based ISCO amendment specifically designed to support sustained bioremediation processes and therefore minimize rebound (US patent 9,126,245; patents pending).

In 2017, we improved the amendment by adding Terr-OR™ as a buffer and stabilizer for reactive ferrate (patents pending).

Today, we are happy to announce our next generation ISCO technology.

Provect-OX2™ is a combination of sodium and potassium persulfate plus Terr-OR® buffer/ferrate stabilizer to allow for extended in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) uniquely coupled with long-term (>3 years) enhanced bioremediation. How? Ferric iron (Fe III) is used as a safe and effective means of activating the persulfates (US Patent No. 9,126,245; patents pending). Subsequently, iron and sulfate serve as alternative electron acceptors to drive biodegradation, and myriad iron-sulfate biogeochemical reactions geologically form reactive minerals in situ to help manage COI rebound, long-term.

Bottom line: successful remedial action with One Injection Event. The synergistic chemistries render Provect-OX® and Provect-OX2™ "Much Greater Than One".

Comparative Analysis

Provect-OX® technologies offer important benefits not inherent to other ISCO alternatives, and are designed to be the safest, most effective, most cost-efficient choice. When persulfate-based ISCO alternatives are comparatively analyzed, Provect-OX® and Provect-OX2™ amendments maintain their leadership in the following areas:

Safety

Fewer health and safety concerns compared to traditional activation methods such as heat, chelated metals, hydrogen peroxide or pH extremes using NaOH. Will not generate excessive heat/off-gases.

Ease of Use

Single component product – all in one bag – with integrated buffer, ferrate-stabilizer, and activator results in simplified logistics and application.

Increased Effectiveness

Promotes multiple oxidation reactions such as ferrate, superoxide and persulfate-based free radicals yielding more extensive in situ oxidation of a wider range of organic contaminants.

Cost Efficiency

Significantly lower costs due to utilization of multiple oxidants with combined secondary treatment processes.

Improved Performance

Will not mobilize heavy metals or cause secondary impact issues such as elevated arsenic or chromium resulting from grossly elevated pH.

Longevity

Uniquely supports long-term ISCO plus sustained (3 to >5 years) secondary bioremediation processes to manage residuals and minimize or prevent contaminant rebound.

Patented Technology

Fully covered US and pending international patent 9,126,245 (other patents pending) that indemnify you and your client from patent infringement.

Safer, More Effective ISCO using Non-Extreme Persulfate Activation that Yields Sustained, Secondary Biotreatment.

Provect-OX® has been successfully used in North America, South America, Oceania and EAMA.

Made in the USA, Brazil, Italy and Taiwan
