Dr. Mueller received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant & Soil Science, and a Master of Science Degree in Agronomy/Soil Microbiology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, in 1983 and 1985, respectively. He received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Soil Microbiology & Biochemistry with a minor in Microbial Genetics from Clemson University in 1988.
